This started out as an idea to recreate the Ferrari horse. Chappe wanted to create something that was fun, funny, silly, didnt take itself too seriously. Hoping to paint it on a Ferrari door or engine cover. Going away from the expected yellow you's see in a Ferrari inspired painting, chappe experimented with different versions of pink. One of the experiments is the horses mane turns orange when lit under black light - which was something he really pushed when he moved onto creating the original.
