From the artist: Today is Awesome was inspired by a sign I saw at my friend's house that said "today is cancelled" it was meant to be funny Joke about the workday. But words have energy, even in jokes. 

What makes this piece special: Since pop brutalism was established in 2023, chappe has been making a happy face every year, except 2025. He couldn't tell you why one wasn't made in 2025. But as soon as he realized, he made sure the one came to fruition.
Additionally this piece shares magnetic eyes with the rest of the collection. So all the eyes can be interchangeable from one piece to the other.

The Louis Vuitton cutouts in this piece came from a vintage LV garment bag.
