Can - Red horse
These pieces began as an experiment — painted on old discarded spray cans from my studio. They are quick, loose hand studies for larger works that are slowly evolving into a body of work of their own.
The cans exist somewhere between painting and sculpture. Their shape forces the artwork to wrap, distort, and interact with the object itself, turning the tool into the canvas.
Using hidden magnets, I’ve also developed a way for them to function as wall pieces, allowing them to be displayed individually or grouped together into larger compositions.
What I love most about the series is its modular nature. Every can can stand alone, but together they create evolving installations of color, texture, and movement. Collectors can build their own arrangements over time — stacking, combining, and designing walls that become completely unique to them.
